Project Management Company (PMC) Manager - Jakarta

Accountabilities

  • Lead and drive HSSE mindset within the PMC organization and, through them, to contractors. 
  • Ensure compliance with the Shell HSSE policies by PMC and, through them, by contractors.
  • Drive and manage the strategic relationship with PMC at the country level
  • Provide leadership to PMC team in the country to set a clear direction and priorities on construction programmes.
  • Provide a cohesive and integrated annual Construction programme to PMC including high-level scope, timeline
  • Review with PMC and approve the complete capex plan and phasing of projects / programmes that are prepared by the PMC including procurement strategies.
  • Provide the Scope of Work of each individual project and programme.
  • Chair the monthly Performance Improvement meeting with PMC team to review the project / programme delivery including spent, milestones and HSSE and agree action plans to improve project / programme delivery performance
  • Escalate unresolved and systemic issues to Shell PMC Coordinators.
  • Provide a Market interface to key stakeholders in other Network functions, Sales & Ops, Marketing and PMC team to ensure the cross-business priorities are integrated into PMC priorities.

Special Challenges 
  • Develop and maintain the strategic relationship with PMC in Indonesia
  • Deliver Projects / Programmes outcomes through the PMC organisation and strive for improvement opportunities in all areas but specifically on project management, competency building and capex effectiveness
  • Meet regulatory and Shell policy and Global Construction & Design standards requirements
  • Pro-actively communicate with stakeholders 
Experience and Qualifications Required
  • We continue to strive to build a professional Retail organization.
  • Professional Retail experience and a good overall understanding of the Retail business will therefore be an advantage in any application.
  • Technical Engineering background would be a plus for the position. However, we do not exclude the possibility that outstanding candidates without Retail experience could be selected.
