To support the performance of the company and increase or maintain the number of customers who have owned, PT Indosat Tbk  job opening for the position and the following requirements:

Transport Network Solution Engineer (Vacancy ID :VAC4182)

Requirements

• M.Sc (IT/Telecoms/EE) or as a minimum B.Sc (IT/Telecoms/EE) working level.
• Excellent level of English proficiency (spoken and writing) is a must.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Have a good problem analysis/solving skills.
• Strong ability to convince decision makers.
• Motivated, curious and inquisitive to learn new things and look further than own area.
• Highly creative: be able to come up with new ideas and concepts.
• A team player that has the capability and eagerness to quickly pick up new knowledge in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment;
• Enthusiastic, positive, sense of ownership and pro-activeness.
• Experience : 
• At least 5 years of working experience in the field of IP/MPLS Network (network operation or planning).
• At least 5 years of working experience in relevant network design areas and experience in a senior position in relevant network design areas in the telecommunication industry.
• Certified CCNP.
• Deep understanding of IP address management (IPv4 and IPv6), internet, INP, IP Cloud and Content Delivery Network (CDN)
• Advanced knowledge of optical transmission systems, microwave systems, SDH, ATM, xWDM, (Carrier) Ethernet, PW, MPLS(-VPN), TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g. BGP, ISIS, OSPF, et), IDS/IPS, Firewalls and security concepts;
• Strong experience with IP networking, in particular the Cisco, Juniper and Huawei range of equipment. Knowledge should be at least on CCNP level; for the senior role, a CCIE level is required;
• Good knowledge of / experience with fixed platforms (e.g. VoIP, DSLAM, IPTV, multicasting, xDSL, DLM, Bonding, FttH, Profiling, DHCP, PPPoE, CPE, Wifi, encoding, DRM, etc…);
• In-depth knowledge of transmission concepts, topologies and network architectures
• Good knowledge of / experience with telecommunications principles and practices;
• Good knowledge of / experience with processes and tooling involved in the planning and operation of mobile/fixednetworks;
• Good knowledge of / experience with running a RFI/RFQ process and managing external suppliers.
