Scientist - STS - Jawa Timur

Job Description

• Conduct various research activities and ensure that all activities in line with the laboratory standards and procedures in timely manner.
• Deal with various analytical methods while gathering and analyzing scientific data by utilizing statistical tools.
• Perform the method development to build the laboratory capabilities to extend the scope of the analysis and act as internal resource for scientific information.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline sampling plan, frequency, analytical methods and report parameters.
• Operate and maintain on high complexity and criticality instruments, e.g. GC-MS, GC-MS/MS,

Qualifications

• Master or Doctoral degree preferably majoring in Chemical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Scientist or other equivalent experiences preferably from tobacco related industry.
• Proven technical skills as a professional in the field of Chemistry.
• Strong knowledge on high complexity and criticality instruments, e.g. GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills - strong oral, written communication, and presentations skills.
• Fluent in English (oral & written)

Senior Technician – STS - Jawa Timur

Job Description

• Perform the various laboratory activities and ensure the implementation of analytical methods are in line with the good laboratory practices.
• Ensure the integrity of laboratory analytical results, verify the result obtained from various analytical method and instrument and provide the result in timely manner.
• Conduct analytical activities for the method development, proficiency test / collaborative studies, and ensure all the requirement are fulfilled.
• Operate and maintain instruments of medium complexity, e.g. smoking machine, Gas chromatography, headspace, liquid chromatography, auto analyzer, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree preferably majoring in Chemical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Laboratory Technician preferably from tobacco related industry.
• Proven technical skills as a professional in the field of Chemistry.
• Strong knowledge on medium complexity instruments, e.g. GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills - strong oral, written communication, and presentations skills.
• Fluent in English (oral & written).

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree with minimum GPA 3.00 from any major (Engineering background will be advantages)
