Based in Medan North Sumatera, Pelindo I operates primarily as a port operator in the western part of Indonesia which covers 4 provinces, namely Aceh, North Sumatera, Riau and Riau Islands. PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) is a non listed state-owned company and is fully-owned by the Government of Indonesia. As of December 2016, Pelindo I runs its business through 16 port branch offices, 1 representative office, 11 port areas and 1 working unit. Pelindo I also supported by 3 subsidiaries, 2 joint control entity companies, and 1 associated company, namely PT Prima Indonesia Logistik (99% owned by Pelindo I), PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (90%), PT Prima Husada Cipta Medan (99%), PT Prima Terminal Petikemas (70%), PT Prima Multi Terminal (55%), and PT Terminal Petikemas Indonesia (25%).
To support its progressive growth and build the organizational capability, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) invites qualified candidates to fullfill the position as follows

Calon Pandu

Requirements

• A minimum age of 30 years and a maximum of 45 years old per 1 December 2017.
• Holder of Seafarers Certificate with minimum ANT-III (preferably ANT II and I) as well as STCW 1978 skills certificate amendment 2010.
• Required sail experience for minimum 3 years as Mualim / Skipper with minimal vessel size of GT 1000.
• Minimum height of 160 cm.
• Physically and mentally healthy, no tattoo and drug-free.
• Not color blind, do not wear glasses / optical lens, and does not have eye defects.
• Well communicated in English (active).
• Willing to be placed in the working area of PT Pelindo I, follow the Pandu training program, and undergo a bond.
