Based in Sangatta East Kalimantan, PT Kaltim Prima Coal has 90,938 hectares of coal mining concessions in Sangatta and Bengalon of East Kutai Regency at the East Kalimantan Province. PT Kaltim Prima Coal is widely known nationwide as one of the largest coal mining companies in Indonesia with installed total annual production capacity of 50 million tonnes per year. PT Kaltim Prima Coal produces three grades of coal; Prima (high quality coal), Pinang (medium quality coal), and Melawan (lower quality coal). PT Kaltim Prima Coal now has representative offices in Jakarta, Samarinda, and Balikpapan.
To answer the challenges of the future, PT Kaltim Prima Coal invites New Graduates (year of graduation: 2018-2019) to join KPC for the following positions:
  1. Graduate Development Program (GDP)
  2. Graduate – Mechanical Engineering (code: GDP MECHANICAL)
  3. Graduate – Electrical Engineering (code: GDP ELECTRICAL)
General Requirements
  • Hold an S1/S2 degree in the disciplines indicated below
  • GDP MECHANICAL : S1 Degree Mechanical Engineering
  • GDP ELECTRICAL : S1 Degree Electrical Engineering (Sistem Tenaga/Arus Kuat/Power)
  • Not older than 25 years (for S1) or 28 years (for S2) of age in the year of admittance.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 grade scale (for S1) or 3.25 on a 4.00 grade scale (for S2).
  • Pass in all tests (psychological, technical, medical).
  • Proficient in English (minimum at Intermediate level).
