PT. Istaka Karya (Persero) is a state-owned enterprise working in general construction services and it was initially established under the name of PT. ICCI (Indonesian Consortium of Construction Industries) consisting of eighteen (18) major contracting companies in Indonesia. Its determination in construction field was shown in the accomplishments in 1985, including its success in handling various projects worth USS 300 million in Saudi Arabia.With all experiences and human resources on 11 April 1981 the Government decided to dissolve the Consortium and found a company named PT. Istaka Karya (Persero). The newly founded company is legalized with the Deed of Establishment No. 01 of 1986, which was announced in the State Gazette No. 69 dated 28 August 1986. The above decision was all based on Government regulation specially intended to Government owned companies.In running its business in the country, PT. Istaka Karya (Persero) has succeeded in applying as well as developing international standard constructions while operating efficient and computerized management techniques. In 2008, PT. Istaka Karya (Persero) also received recognition for implementing OHSAS Management System 18001;2007 and environment ISO-140101;2004 from WQA.
As a general contractor,
manages various construction services such as Planning and Implementing as well as other innovative products.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (S1) or Master's degree (S2) majoring in Economics / Business Management / Financial Management
- Minimum have 12 years working experience for Bachelor's degree (S1) or 9 years experience for Master's degree (S2)
- Minimum 6 years holding a Officer-level position
- Have skills in the fields of computer, information system, HR management, and labor law
